The European HIV Drug Resistance Workshops have proven to meet the need of European researchers and clinicians working in the field of HIV treatment. The workshop has become the place to be to keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in the field of HIV drug resistance and to translate the latest science to daily clinical practice.
It is of major importance to continue this educational programme. Therefore we are organising a 6th European HIV Drug Resistance Workshop, From basic science to clinical implications, that will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 26 – 28 March 2008. The format of the meeting will again be a two and a half-day program consisting of invited lectures, abstract driven scientific presentations, clinical case presentations and poster sessions. The workshop will address important topics such as mechanisms of drug resistance, epidemiology of drug resistance, resistance to new drugs, resistance technology, managing HIV-HCV co-infection, etc. We would like to invite you to attend the 6th European HIV Drug Resistance Workshop and we would like to encourage you to submit abstracts on your research and clinical cases in this field.
